At Istanbul Ignited by Slush'D on 13–14 October, we represented AI Safety Türkiye to make AI safety and resilience more visible in Türkiye’s startup ecosystem.
AI Safety Türkiye took part in Istanbul Ignited by Slush’D, held on 13–14 October. Our co-founder Berke Çelik represented AI Safety Türkiye at the event, with the aim of making AI safety and resilience more visible in Türkiye’s technology and startup ecosystem.
AI is spreading fast, and both society and the economy need to prepare for this transformation. As new technologies are developed, it is becoming ever more important to build in safety from the start, spot risks early, and be able to intervene when something goes wrong.
The field also holds opportunities for entrepreneurs. Startups working on AI safety and resilience can receive support not only from venture capital but also from philanthropic funds. We want to help entrepreneurs learn about these options.
At the event, we had the chance to talk about AI safety with many people from different fields. We will keep building new connections so that this topic is discussed more widely in Türkiye’s technology ecosystem.
