As part of EA Summit: Istanbul 2025, we convened a session entitled “AI Safety,” featuring Bengüsu Özcan, co-founder of AI Safety Turkey. This session examined the transformative impacts of artificial intelligence on society and decision-making processes, the systemic risks we confront in steering this transformation for the betterment of humanity, and the critical imperative for cultivating a more highly skilled talent pool within the AI safety domain.
