We organized our Introduction to AI Governance program for the second time

We organized our Introduction to AI Governance program for the second time. As in the first one, we went through a difficult selection process for this program, receiving applications nearly twice our capacity. Some of our participants, who completed the five-week program in which we also hosted Artificial Intelligence Governance Researcher and Community Founder Jelle Donders, applied to Bluedot Impact's programs, and we stay in touch with many of them and follow their success.

Bilkent University Philosophy Festival

We introduced Artificial Intelligence Turkey and the interdisciplinary structure of artificial intelligence security to the participants who attended Bilkent University Philosophy Festival and visited our stand. We had our first meeting in Ankara on the evening of the same day. We had so much fun, we will come back to Ankara! 🙂

Koç University AI Safety Presentation

We made our Introduction to AI Safety presentation at the workshop organized by Koç University Effective Altruism Club. We answered questions about artificial intelligence security from students from many different departments, from psychology to industrial engineering, and talked about how their careers could be shaped in this field.

First Introduction

We held our first Introduction to AI Governance program. Artificial Intelligence Governance Researcher Sarah Weiler was our guest in one week of our 5-week reading and discussion program, which we prepared from the most up-to-date sources on artificial intelligence governance. We received applications nearly twice our capacity for our program, which we tried to make more concentrated and up-to-date by taking a model from Bluedot Impact's program of the same name. Some of our participants, who left very positive comments about our program, gained access to Bluedot Impact's own programs after the program, signed projects such as airiskindex.com, and organized widely attended reading groups on artificial intelligence security.
